Food Technology

Food Technology is a crucial life skill that teaches students to feed themselves affordably and well. Students learn hygiene, safe storage, nutrition, and healthy eating principles, developing practical cooking skills and an understanding of food origins. This provides an excellent foundation for careers in hospitality and catering.

Design Technology

Design and Technology is an inspiring practical subject where pupils develop creativity and imagination to design and make products. Students learn about health and safety, work cooperatively and independently, and gain practical experience in the design process and manufacturing. This provides a valuable introduction to engineering and many related sectors.

Engineering

Engineering is a dynamic and rewarding field that combines creativity, problem-solving, and scientific knowledge to design and build our world. Students gain skills to tackle complex challenges, innovate solutions, and make a lasting impact, learning about materials, machinery, and computer-aided manufacturing like 3D printing.
